DMC x Up Yer Airts
June 2025 | ⚲ Park Farm, Dumfries
DMC and Up Yer Airts join forces to support local talent at Youth Beatz 2025. The impressive bill of young musicians performed on the Main Stage at the June festival, providing an opportunity to young, local artists to play at Scotland’s largest youth music festival.

DMC ON TOUR!

April 2025 | ⚲ Wigtown, Castle Douglas, Dumfries
DMC ON TOUR! is back for it’s second year, welcoming 15-year-old young rapper and producer, Joseph Cursare. The show hit 3 towns in Dumfries & Galloway - Wigtown, Castle Douglas & Dumfries for a one-of-a-kind performance creatively directed by Joseph himself. The performances were supported by DJs Joe Clark and Coll Irvine, tying the performances together with other fresh rising talent.
Soirée 2025
w/ Mirren & ELANDA
March 2025 | ⚲ Kings Cafe, Dumfries
DMC celebrated women in music by creating new opportunities for both emerging & established creatives in March 2025. The programme was packed, starting with free DJ workshops for female and non-binary people aged 15–25, led by the legendary DJ ELANDA. We then danced into the night with Soirée, our liveliest International Women’s Day event yet - where a local coffee shop transformed into a buzzing dance floor. Meanwhile, the BEYOND THE DECKS podcast featured Sally and Dija in conversation about the current state of electronic music in Scotland.
Trax 2024
A New All-Dayer
September 2024 | ⚲ River of Life Centre, Dumfries
Trax debuted as Dumfries' first all-day music festival, aiming to highlight the region's vibrant music scene and provide a platform for emerging artists. The event was part of DMC's broader mission to support and promote the local music industry through education and events, whilst making music accessible to rural areas. The 2024 edition showcased a diverse array of Scottish contemporary music, with rising starts Psweatpants, Sweaty Palms, Alice Faye and more.
DMC Stage @ YouthBeatz 2024
June 2024 | ⚲ Parkfarm, Dumfries
DMC has partnered with YouthBeatz - Scotland’s biggest youth music festival - annually, with the aim of showcasing various young musicians from the area. Seventeen different artists and bands took to the stage, many of them never having played outwith their home, and many showcasing their own original material.

DMC partnered with Kleo is Online for a 4 date tour around Dumfries & Galloway. The self-proclaimed cyber girl brought hyper-pop to rural Scotland, exhibiting her tech-inspired performance and character to locals.
